Can men use an intimate wash for women?

Men's intimate area has a different pH than that of women. The pH is the degree of acidity of our skin.

If we use products with a lower or higher pH than that of our skin, we will destroy its hydrolipidic layer, which is a natural protective barrier. Our skin can unbalanced, which means unprotected or "low in defenses."

Therefore, to maintain healthy skin, whether in the intimate area or the rest of the body, it is very important to always wash with a cleansing gel or soap that has a pH value as close as possible to that of our skin, which is normally around 5.5.

However, the pH of our entire intimate area (penis, testicles and anus) is not 5.5 like the rest of our body, it is higher.

On the other hand, women have a pH of 5.5 in their intimate area (except in certain situations such as menstruation, menopause, etc.).

This means that men should not use a women's intimate soap to wash our intimate area.

We also do not recommend using a conventional shower gel for the same pH reason mentioned above.

It is best to use an intimate gel with a specific men's pH value such as our Downstairs Fresh in men's intimate area.

INTIMATE WASH FOR MEN
